Symbol Sets

What do graphical symbols actually mean? In business, daily life, and design, symbols are pictures that serve as narrative devices. In the field of design, a symbol is a composite of visual components that can be used to convey a brand's identity, tell its story, and shape consumer perceptions. I made six separate symbol sets for this project, including those for a restaurant, a bank, a flower shop, a record store, a movie theater, and a park. Each one can be used as a symbol for each place on a mobile application such as google maps.
